Job Responsibilities:
1. Work with Production Manager to establish Engineering group’s goals, objectives and tactics.
2. Supervise, coach and support Quality Engineering team’s daily work and provide directions
3. Work with Production Manager and the whole Engineering Team to makes exception decisions regarding Product and Process as well as implement product crisis management process.
4. Work with Tooling group and oversees all the equipments/tools/fixtures in a well-working condition; to conduct PM as planned; To carry out TPM; To set up a good relationship with external machine-shop in case of urgent fabrication.
5. Maintain the whole Engineering team’s competency, Establish and maintain plant wide training needs for underlings;
6. Establish Engineering support and communication channel with other functional team.
7. Work with Project Team to transfer new projects and launch new products
8. This position requires frequent contact with AST (U.S.) Engineering. Sign off on Eng |
